Daniel H. Pelletier, CPA

Dan has over 24 years of public accounting experience, serving small- and medium-sized clients throughout Maine.

Dan provides general business and consulting advice to closely-held entrepreneurial and commercial businesses and their owners in various industries including construction contractors, manufacturers, hospitality establishments, and real estate operators. Services provided to clients include business financing, succession planning, corporate organization, transactional negotiations, and family business consulting.

Dan heads up the firm’s audit and accounting services. He is a graduate of Husson College, and a member of the AICPA, the Maine Society of CPA’s, Associated Constructors of Maine, and the Construction Financial Management Association .

David D. Chase, CPA, MBA, MST

David has over 22 years of experience in public accounting helping individuals and closely-held businesses set and meet financial goals. He has extensive experience in advising owners through the various startup, growth, acquisition, and divestiture stages of their businesses. David is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine, and a  Masters of Science in Taxation from Bentley College.

David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maine Estate Planning Council, the Maine Society of CPA’s, and the Tax division of the AICPA.

Mary Margaret Taylor, CPA

Mary Margaret became a principal of PCA in December 2009. She joined the firm in 2003, and has over 18 years of accounting and tax experience. Her first seven years were spent serving tax clients in the Orlando, Florida office of Deloitte & Touch. She then took an opportunity to expand her career in to the private sector by taking a position as Controller, overseeing the accounting and general business needs for a large specialty retailer headquartered in Winter Park, Florida.

She is a CPA and holds a Masters in Accounting with a Tax Specialization from Florida State University.

 

Deborah A. Callahan, CPA

Deb has accumulated a wide range of experience with over 16 years in the accounting industry.

She began her career with the public accounting firms of KPMG Peat Marwick and Wolf & Company, P.C. Both of these firms are located in Boston, Massachusetts. At that time, she audited a variety of businesses in the New England Region.

Deb also worked with AEW Capital Management to provide accounting oversight for real estate investment portfolios. She then assisted in the management of Westborough Bank, in the position of Controller as the company transitioned from a savings bank to a publicly-traded company.

Prior to joining PCA in 2005, she most recently taught accounting to adult students for Lewiston Adult Education.

Deb is a CPA and graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy.

Arran D. Stevens, Accountant

Arran has over nine years of experience in public accounting. After spending four years at a small accounting firm in Massachusetts, he returned to Maine and most recently worked at a Portland firm for two years prior to joining Pelletier, Chase & Associates in 2005.

Arran’s experience includes tax preparation, planning, auditing, and computer software assistance for a wide range of accounting clients.  He graduated from the University of Maine at Machias with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration, concentration in Accounting.

Denise R. Fredette, CAP

Denise is our Office Manager and joined us from the former firm of Bruzgo, Chase, Kremer & Pelletier where she had worked since 1998. She is typically the first person to greet you when contacting PCA and handles the administrative functions of the office.

Denise graduated from Casco Bay College with an Associates degree in Executive Administrative Assisting. She was awarded the Certified Administrative Professional rating by the IAAP for her commitment to her profession. She is currently enrolled at the University of Southern Maine as a Psychology major.

Denise is a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals and the National Notary Association.
